About
Raised in the Bay Area, Leila Garrison is a writer/director interested in both genre films and personal stories. She is a 2016 graduate of NYU’s Film & TV program, and worked in New York for several years in art department for TV and features before relocating to Los Angeles.
She continues to work as a production designer in LA while directing short films and writing features. Her work has screened at film festivals around the world, from Burbank International Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA, to Sci-Fi Film Fest in Sydney, Australia.
She is currently developing her first feature, Vessel, a horror film about a young disabled girl who discovers nightmarish secrets about her family in her quest to get better. The short proof-of-concept for the project is currently wrapping up its festival run.
